APF Newsletter 21 March 2014

The Australian Privacy Foundation (APF) is delighted to announce the results of the inaugural Sir Zelman Cowen Essay Competition.

Here is the Media Release.

Our thanks to:

  • judges Elizabeth Evatt – Patron, Julian Burnside – Panel member, and Dan Svantesson – sometime Vice-Chair
  • David Lindsay of Monash University for his considerable efforts in establishing the Competition and bringing the first event to fruition
  • Gilbert+Tobin for their sponsorship of the event

This represents a very welcome expansion of APF’s activities beyond its traditional focus on policy and research resources.

APF’s policy commitments continue unabated, however, with 20 contributions in the first 3 months of 2014.
