Thankyou for all the work you're doing to bring attention to this. They don't understand that medical records can harm, not just help. There are a few things I'm sitting here wishing I had never seen a doctor about. And for the last few years at least, I've been thinking about privacy every time I've been in my doctor's office. I can't help it, the thought is always there, and at the front of my mind, not the back. It shouldn't be like that.

Thank you Dr B.
Few are mentioning the subtle nexus of requirement to opt out by entering BOTH a medicare care AND driver's licence. Is this creeping "Fascism" .......to gain a cross check / update of records held by government agencies.
The opt in was reasonable. Opt out is the new normal.....for all fraud activities corporate and Government.
THERE IS NO DETAIL re documentation and data structure:
What is the structure of the underlying data?
How does it correspond to systems that practitioners and hospitals use?
(there are many and I assume no integration)
What is the law regarding safeguards viz:
a) sale of data?
b) correction of data? by who, how?
c) liability for errors as a result of incorrect data being relied on and causing .....
d)

A health record should be THAT ONLY and available for medical view ONLY.
